Garden Design Consultation This includes a visit to your home complete with site measurements, and a personal consultation about what you would like to grow and what will meet your family’s needs.  In a few days you will have a customized sketch of your garden design with a detailed list of instructions on how to complete the installation yourself as well as a list of supplies needed and estimated cost.   

InstallationIf you would like us to install your garden, complete with hardscape, drip irrigation & planting we can do that for you.  Fees will vary depending on the scale and scope of your edible garden design.

Seasonal Mentoring Program- Amy will create a customized education schedule that will not only save you years worth of costly mistakes but will turn you into a seasoned vegetable gardener in one growing season. This is the key to having a thriving edible garden.  Amy will work with you and/or your family in your garden, weekly, monthly or every few months, whatever fits your needs and budget.

Children’s Gardens - If you want your children to learn the joys of planting & growing their own food & flowers, but don’t have the time or knowledge to do so, Amy can work with them to grow their own plot.  Children learn self sufficiency, gain confidence and enjoy all that nature provides them.  Amy has first hand experience, she has two children of her own who regularly share in cultivating and most importantly eat the food they produce in their edible garden !

Patio Gardens -  Don't let a small balcony or patio deter you from growing food. We can tailor a small edible container garden to suit your needs.  

Backyard Workshops - Hosting a backyard workshop at your home is a great way to learn the basics of installing a new garden while connecting with other new gardeners.  Topics include, planning your garden, soil preparation & planting, installing drip irrigation, composting & more. School Garden ConsultationsAmy is a well seasoned Garden Coordinator & Educator at  The San Diego Cooperative Charter School.  If you need help starting your own school garden, Amy will consult with you for a discounted fee to help you create a thriving and successful School Garden Program complete with curriculum ideas.

Gardens for Businesses - Organic gardens are a great way for businesses to grow their own food, or offer an added employee benefit.  Its a great way to add to a team environment by gardening together before or after work.  Its also a great way to put your landscaping dollars to good work !

Pricing - Garden prices vary depending on the size and materials used.  We try to recycle whatever materials we can from your yard to use in your design.  Most gardens we design & install can cost anywhere from $250 to $3000.  Designs alone cost between $150 & $500.  If you need a consultation for a specific reason, the fee is  $75 per hour.  In the end its all worth it to become an expert at growing your own food.
